FAQs
Our committed team focuses on providing personalized care, combining clinical knowledge with empathy to help you achieve your rehabilitation goals.
Getting started
For your first visit to physical therapy, it's important to bring a few key items. Make sure to have your insurance information, a valid ID, and any relevant medical records or referrals from your doctor. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, and if you have any specific braces or assistive devices you use, bring those along too. This will help your therapist understand your needs better.
Please arrive about 15 minutes early so our front desk can check you in, scan your ID and insurance card, and help you finish any remaining intake forms.
We accept most major insurance plans and offer next-day appointments at over 60 convenient locations.
Many patients can start therapy without a referral through direct access. Some insurance plans still require one, so check with your plan or ask our team before your visit.
A first evaluation usually lasts about 60 minutes. Your therapist reviews your history, tests strength and range of motion, and builds a treatment plan with you.
Wear loose, comfortable clothes and supportive sneakers. If we are treating a knee or hip, shorts make it easier for your therapist to assess the area.
Insurance & billing
After your insurance processes the claim, you receive a statement for any remaining balance, such as a deductible or coinsurance.
We work with most commercial plans, Medicare, and many Medicaid managed care plans. Coverage varies by location.
A copay is the fixed amount your plan asks you to pay per visit. It is collected at check-in before each session.
Yes. Self-pay patients can book at any location, and our front desk can share current self-pay rates before your first appointment.
Bring your new card to your next visit or upload a photo through the patient portal so we can verify your benefits before billing.
During treatment
It depends on your diagnosis and goals. Most plans of care run between 6 and 12 weeks, and your therapist reviews progress with you regularly.
Some exercises can feel challenging, and mild soreness afterwards is normal. Tell your therapist if anything feels sharp so they can adjust the treatment.
We aim to keep you with the same therapist throughout your care so they know your history and can track your progress closely.
Yes. Your therapist gives you a home exercise program with clear instructions, and updates it as you get stronger.
Call your clinic as soon as you can to reschedule. Keeping a steady schedule helps you reach your goals faster.
Telehealth & virtual
Yes. Many follow-up visits can be done by secure video, so you can work with your therapist from home.
You need a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, a stable internet connection, and enough space to move around safely.
Many plans cover telehealth at the same rate as in-clinic visits. Our team can confirm your coverage before you book.
Policies & privacy
Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the time to another patient.
We follow HIPAA rules for all patient records. Only your care team and the staff who handle your billing can access your information.
Patient portal
Use the email address you gave at registration. If you have not set a password yet, choose Forgot Password on the login screen to create one.
Yes. The portal shows open times at your clinic, and you can book, move, or cancel visits in a few clicks.
Your home exercise program is in the portal with pictures and videos, so you can follow along between visits.
Open the Billing section to see your balance and pay securely by card. Receipts are saved in the same place.
Call your clinic's front desk and they will reset your access or pass your request to our support team.
